Ministries / Bethel Kids
A place for children from birth through fifth grade to hear God’s Word and grow alongside the church family.

Mission
At Bethel, we love kids and want to partner with parents to make disciples at home. Deuteronomy 6:4–9 teaches that parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children. As a body of believers, Bethel also understands that it takes the full family of God to come alongside and encourage parents in the parenting journey.
Bethel’s staff and Kids leaders are committed to faithfully instructing children in sound biblical doctrine, cultivating Christ-like character and habits, and providing opportunities for meaningful connection and fellowship with believers.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might … You shall teach [these words] diligently to your children.” — Deuteronomy 6:4–9
Sunday mornings
Children from birth through fifth grade can be checked in before service at the Kids Check station to the right of the main worship center. Children from birth through preschool are guided to the appropriate room. Kindergarten through fifth-grade students join the congregation for singing, then meet their teacher in the lobby and walk with security to the children’s wing. Parents pick them up there after service.

Three- and four-year-olds receive an age-appropriate, Bible-based lesson with crafts, visuals, games, and time on the secure playground.
Classes use Truth78 as their primary teaching resource so the next generation will know, honor, and treasure God, set its hope in Christ alone, and live as faithful disciples for God’s glory.
Wednesday nights
Wednesday night connects the church’s older generation—its storytellers—with its future generation. Kindergarten through fifth-grade students hear congregation members share how God has been faithful in their lives, then enjoy crafts, LEGO, board games, and playground time. The gathering begins at 6:30 PM and ends promptly at 8:00 PM.
Safety and comfort
Every volunteer completes a detailed application process that includes a background check. Weekly precautions include a check-in and checkout security system, parent paging, security-team escorts, and secured children’s-wing doors during service.
Children are welcome in the main service. If your little one is having a difficult time, a baby cry room to the left of the main lobby offers a comfortable place to continue watching the service together.
