Take your next step.

From your first Sunday to a deeper place in the church family, you can move at a pace that makes sense for you.

Worship at Bethel Baptist Church

A path to belong

Four simple steps.

Step 1

My Bethel

This is the first step in the process of getting plugged into the Bethel family. Whether you are new to Bethel or have been attending for any amount of time, join this informal gathering immediately after a Sunday service. You will meet the pastoral staff and key church leaders, hear about Bethel’s mission and vision, and have an opportunity to ask questions. This time together is usually about an hour, and lunch is provided.

Step 2

Bethel Essentials

This is the second step in the process of getting plugged into the Bethel family. Bethel Essentials takes you deeper into who Bethel is as a church. The gathering walks through the Gospel, theological and doctrinal positions, the responsibilities of family members, and relational commitments to one another as one body in Christ. It meets after a Sunday service, lasts approximately 90 minutes, and includes lunch.

Step 3

Grow

At Bethel, the focus is on the quality of discipleship. Those engaged within the church body are encouraged to connect through both small-group life and opportunities to serve. Both areas exist to minister to and encourage one another, spurring one another on to good works. Bethel wants every believer in the church family to find a place to grow and serve, using the gifts God has given them to help build His church.

Step 4

Commit

The New Testament indicates that committed followers of Jesus Christ identify themselves with a local body of like-minded believers. Through the local church, believers practice accountability and commitment to both Christ and one another. At Bethel, this means becoming an official part of the Bethel family—the picture Bethel believes most accurately reflects what Christ calls the church to be.
