Free walk-in care

What the clinic offers.

The Bethel Free Medical Clinic exists to assist people in the community with free medical care. It offers walk-in visits for people of all ages and genders. Although the clinic is not a primary-care office, it can see patients and create a medical care plan for many conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, biopsies, cortisone injections, arthritis, and other injuries.

The clinic can provide physical exams, but it does not offer immunizations or complete disability forms.

Eligibility

Who the clinic serves.

Eligibility is strictly for people without health insurance—including Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits—who qualify financially at or below 300% of Florida’s poverty level and are unable to secure a physician.

The clinic does not require documentation of legal status for medical service.

Medications

Important limitations.

The clinic does not prescribe controlled substances or medication for psychiatric disorders. It does not keep controlled substances or prescription medications on campus. It cannot fill prescriptions except for a limited number of medications for which vouchers may be available.

As you arrive

What happens during a visit.

The clinic is inside the Ministry Center at the front of the campus. Follow the signs to its entrance. A team member will greet you, help check your insurance and financial status using a State of Florida form, and direct you to the waiting area. Patients are called in the order they arrive.

At your turn, a doctor will discuss your concern and make medical recommendations or a treatment plan. The clinic will explain if it can help with medication or treatment costs.

Our mission

Care for the whole person.

While the clinic assists with medical needs, its main goal is to support spiritual health. Bethel seeks to meet physical needs, create space for spiritual conversations, and help visitors hear about Jesus, who calls His people to care for those made in His image.
